Calling all kids to Advent! This year our children’s Advent program will come in 4 parts. Each Sunday (December 1,8,15,22) the kids will present the Children’s Sermon with readings and music. If you want to lead this part of worship at the 11:00 service, we will practice and rehearse during Sunday School (9:45-10:30). If you want to participate during the 8:08 service, please call Ellen 919-691-7582. Let’s get together to learn and celebrate the coming of our Lord.

The two roses in the sanctuary last Sunday were in celebration of the births of Myles and Zoa Messer, twin children of Rachelle and Logan Messer.

Prayer for the 1st Sunday of Advent:

Faithful God,

your promises stand unshaken through all generations.

Renew us in hope,

that we may be awake and alert

as we watch for the glorious return of Jesus Christ,

our judge and savior,

who lives and reigns with you

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and forever, Amen.
