Mission of the month – Sunday completes our June donations to ACIM and FLVF,
Families Living Violence Free. July mission projects are Back Pack Buddies,
which gives school supplies to needy students, and Christmas in July Vacation
Bible School gifts to ACIM. Donations can be made anytime during the month.

 

Announcements :

• July 3rd
o – 10:30 a.m. – Heavenly Hashings: C.S. Lewis’s The Great Divorce at
Uptown Cafe
o – 12:00 p.m. – Midday Prayer

Our local book club has resumed meeting again with another book, C.S. Lewis’s
The Great Divorce, the story of a bus ride that takes passengers from hell to
heaven. Come join old friends and make new ones all while indulging your reading
pleasure. Please let Alan know if you are interested in attending.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 17, 18, and 19 from 5:00 until 7:30
p.m. We will celebrate Christmas in July and focus on the joy that comes from
giving. There will be Bible Study sessions for children as well as adults. We
are hoping to construct a huge Christmas tree using canned foods that are
donated by members of the OPC family. Please give canned food and come to VBS!
