Calling all kids to Sunday School! This winter and spring we will be learning the church’s oldest and simplest confession: The Apostles’ Creed. It promises to be fun and exciting and utterly true. Come at 9:45am this Sunday!
Continue to pray for our dear friend Kathy Webb as she continues to heal and rehabilitate from her accident. She is now at Universal Health in Oxford and requests that visitors come during the afternoon hours. In her absence, Alex Rote from our friends at the Oxford United Methodist Church continues to be our accompanist during our worship services.
Prayers for: Becky and Isabella Baird, Michael Boyd, Ann Currin, Linda and Mike Diamond, Randy Downey, Julie Gaydon, Diane and Fred Heath, Hannah Hobgood, Sue Huggins, Will Newcomb, Greg and Kellie Price, Kathy Webb
Happy Birthday to: None this week
“I will praise the name of God with a song;
I will magnify him with thanksgiving.
This will please the Lord more than an ox
or a bull with horns and hoofs.
Let the oppressed see it and be glad;
you who seek God, let your hearts revive.
For the Lord hears the needy,
and does not despise his own that are in bonds.” (Psalm 69:30-33 NRSV)
