Announcements
- March mission project begins on Sunday – One Great Hour of Sharing – this is our annual mission that’s observed the weeks before Easter. This organization gives aid to the hungry, the destitute, etc. as they work with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and Church World Service. If donating by check, please make payable to OPC, memo – OGHS. Thank you!
- Thanks to all who so generously supported our Blankets’ Fund Mission as we met our goal and beyond! We are able to provide almost 300 blankets to those in need.
- Wednesday, 7th – there will not be a Noon Prayer Time or Lenten Bible study as Alan will be out of town.
- 6:30 p.m. – the Men’s supper and meeting will be held
- Saturday – 10th – 8:00 a.m. – the Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast will be held at the church
- 6:30 p.m. – Lenten Cantata at Butner Presbyterian Church; the OPC Choir will be participating
Prayers continue for those on our weekly prayer list – Sue Huggins, Ann Currin, Dottie Price, Pete Strother, John Newell, Angie Arnold, Linda Diamond, Mike Diamond, Fred Heath, Diane Heath, Isabella Baird, Hannah Hobgood and we ask prayers for George Yancey who has a serious problem with one of his eyes.
Happy Birthday to: Jane Boyd – tomorrow, 2nd; Walter Gould – 3rd and Julie Oakley – 6th.
