Calling all kids to Advent! This year our children’s Advent program will come in 4 parts. Each Sunday (December 1,8,15,22) the kids will present the Children’s Sermon with readings and music. If you want to lead this part of worship at the 11:00 service, we will practice and rehearse during Sunday School (9:45-10:30). If you want to participate during the 8:08 service, please call Ellen 919-691-7582. Let’s get together to learn and celebrate the coming of our Lord.

Our choir will join with the Oxford United Methodist Church choir in a Christmas concern on Saturday, December 14th at 4:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Please come and enjoy a tremendous gift and blessing!

“You shall go out in joy, and be led back in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you shall burst into song,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall be to the Lord for a memorial,
for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” (Isaiah 55:12-13 NRSV
