Announcements

• September mission project- making our donations to the Murdoch Center in Butner, NC. The funds will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for the resident children.
• Sunday, 9th – following worship – Bicentennial Committee meeting
• Tuesday, Choir practice  7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, Midday Prayer time at 12 noon
• Wednesday, Clean-up day at church – volunteers needed
• Thursday, Clean-up day at church – volunteers needed
• Saturday, 15th – Dinner with Phil and Jan Butin, Koenekes and friends at Middleburg Steak House in Middleburg. Reservations needed, so if you can attend, please contact Ellen Gould at 919-693-1733 and she will give you time and other information. The meal will be Dutch Treat.

Prayers continue for those on our weekly prayer list –  Becky Baird, Sue Huggins , Ann Currin, Dottie Price , Moo Yancey at home, John Newell, at Brantwood for physical therapy;  Linda Diamond, Mike Diamond, Fred Heath, Diane Heath, Isabella Baird, Hannah Hobgood,  Randy Downey  and Judy Knight. Condolences and prayers for family of Pete Strother, who passed away on August 31.

Happy Birthday to Daniel Overton – 9th;  Ally Milton- 11th and Sue Huggins – 12th.
